- February 10th, 11th, 12th—The second ScarWars event took place in Los Angeles and featured many unique individual and collaborative scarification pieces. Clive Barker designed a one-of-a-kind cutting for a ScarWars attendee.
March
- March 12th—Rings of Desire closes its doors permanently in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
April
- April 1—Official DVD release of MODIFY.
- April 14—BME Encylopedia went live.
May
- DVD release of Uvatiarru is expected.
- A female mummy covered in tattoos was found in a burial site in Peru.
- May 20: The East Coast BME BBQ took place in Woodbridge, NJ.
