Foot Crucifixion Suspension

From BME Encyclopedia

For a foot crucifixion suspension the hooks are placed right through the foot between the bones (as nails would be during a crucifixion). Great care must be taken to avoid nerves and blood vessels, and the risks are a lot greater than with 'standard' suspensions.

This suspension is very different to suspensions generally practiced by suspension groups, where the hooks are placed purely though the skin.
