Lorett Fulkerson in the 1980s

Lorett Fulkerson, born Loretta Love in Capital City, Oklahoma on July 17, 1915, is considered to be "the last tattooed lady". 90 percent of her body was tattooed by Tats Thomas in Chicago. He tattooed her for free in exchange of advertising his name on her card. She began exhibiting herself the in 1930s. She worked for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey, Dick Best and Ward Hall. She retired in 1992.

She died in December 2007.
