Urethral Stricture

Urethral stricture is a narrowing of the urethra which can make urination difficult or impossible, and can lead to UTIs and other complications. It is generally caused by scar tissue around the urethra, formed as a result of trauma or infection. Only certain extreme genital modifications (and play) carry a risk of causing urethral stricture, which is generally treated by gentle dilation until the problem is resolved, though in some cases surgery may be necessary.
