Halfadravya
From BME Encyclopedia
Halfadravya is short for "half apadravya" and it's really just that — the upper half of an apadravya piercing with the lower half made impossible because of a subincision or meatotomy opening the lower half of the penis. Other than being only half as long, the halfadravya is a standard apadravya piercing (although deep placements are not at all uncommon).
Halfadravyas are also sometimes used as "base points" for headsplitting or combatting regrowth by providing a pre-healed base for the split.
