'''Night of 1000 Scars''' was the long anticipated opening party for [[Dee Snyder]]'s film [[Strangeland]].  It took place in [[1998]] in Webster Hall, located in the [[East Village]], and was organized by [[Keith Alexander]].

Many attendants expressed surprise and awe at the sheer scope of the event, which included performances by [[The Lizardman]], [[TSD]], Lolita Wolf, Kiva, and NeoSporic FleshMechanic.  Of special note were The Lizardman's incredible fireshow, TSD's performance, which included a very early female suspension (that of [[Essie]]), and Lolita Wolf's surgically precise single tail display.
