A '''large gauge''' [[body piercing]] is generally considered to be one that has been [[stretched]], [[Ear Cutting|cut]] or otherwise placed to a larger [[gauge]] than average. For example, an ear might be considered "large gauge" if it's over an inch or so, but an eyebrow at 12ga is also large gauge.
