I've never understood why this entry is in here. It seems to imply that we should have local names for all countries where modification appears. Jake

Basically I think the entry is in here because the word has been featured in a few of the Maori-related articles (obviously because in te reo Maori it's the word for New Zealand). Most computer literate people will just google the word if they don't know what it means, but it's nice for others to have it in this wiki so that they don't need to go elsewhere. With that said, I understand what you mean. To be fair, we'd need the indigenous names for all countries listed on this wiki. Why not make a start? Sly
